01 Feb Carcinoma
The image consists of several clusters of polygonal epithelial cells with a small amount of lightly basophilic cytoplasm and a large round to oval nucleus with coarsely stippled chromatin. Anisokaryosis is moderate. The diagnosis is carcinoma, suspect pulmonary carcinoma, but a metastatic carcinoma cannot be ruled out.
